Position Overview

We are seeking our new Head of Content & Portfolio Marketing to join the SBS team!

Reporting directly to the CMO, the Head of Content & Portfolio Marketing leads the team responsible for product marketing and the content engine that powers SBS's market presence. This is a senior leadership role combining the depth of a B2B Product Marketing leader with the editorial ambition of a modern content strategist.

You will manage a team of 6-9 people — PMMs covering SBS's full product portfolio across key geographies and a content function that translates product insight into compelling narratives for buyers, analysts, and influencers.

Location: Paris, France

Hybrid: 60% Remote & 40% Onsite per Month

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global Product Marketing strategy across the SBS portfolio, developing differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target markets and buyer personas.
  • Define and maintain consistent product positioning and messaging frameworks across all solutions, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, customer needs, and competitive differentiation.

  • Own the development of global go-to-market (GTM) strategies and standardized launch playbooks for new products, product enhancements, market expansions, and strategic initiatives.

  • Build and lead a scalable content engine that transforms product narratives into high-impact sales enablement materials, thought leadership, digital content, customer stories, campaign assets, and executive communications.

  • Partner with the Market Intelligence function to integrate competitive insights, customer feedback, industry trends, and market research into product positioning, messaging, and GTM strategies.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of Product Marketing Managers, overseeing hiring, coaching, performance management, and capability development across a team of 6–7 professionals.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate product roadmaps, innovation, and technical capabilities into compelling customer value propositions and commercial messaging.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, GTM, Campaign Management, and Regional Marketing teams to ensure successful execution of global go-to-market initiatives.

  • Oversee the creation and continuous enhancement of sales enablement resources, including battle cards, competitive positioning, presentations, playbooks, messaging guides, objection handling, and training materials.

  • Establish messaging governance, content standards, and portfolio marketing best practices to ensure consistency across all customer-facing communications and marketing channels.

  • Develop analyst relations and influencer engagement strategies in partnership with the Market Intelligence function, coordinating executive briefings, product updates, and strategic positioning with industry analysts and key influencers.

  • Define and measure Product Marketing KPIs, including product adoption, launch effectiveness, messaging performance, sales enablement utilization, analyst perception, and content engagement.

  • Partner with Campaign Management and Demand Generation teams to ensure product messaging and content are effectively integrated into global marketing campaigns and account-based marketing initiatives.

  • Serve as the strategic voice of the customer and the market within the organization, ensuring that portfolio strategy, messaging, and content evolve alongside changing customer needs and competitive dynamics.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • 8+ years in B2B Product Marketing or Content Marketing, with at least 3 years managing teams
  • Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or fintech — banking or financial services strongly preferred
  • Proven track record building and scaling a content engine or PMM function
  • Strong executive presence — able to hold your own with C-level stakeholders, sales leaders, and GMs
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools and curious about how AI is reshaping marketing practice
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Based in Paris

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AI-powered GTM or product-led growth motions
  • Familiarity with the banking software or fintech ecosystem (core banking, digital banking, lending, regulatory reporting)
  • Experience with analyst relations (Gartner, Forrester, IDC)
